Our New Site Debuts!

Welcome to the new Ecologos and Water Docs site. As you can see, we have a new, more exciting look, a regularly changing program of content and lots of useful information for anyone interested in water issues or our different events. We are also a work in progress, so check back often for the latest updates.

What you need to know about all Ecologos programs, past and present, is found here. As it becomes available, we will provide the latest updates for our 2017 Water Docs Film Festival, including the selection of films with descriptions, trailers and playing schedule. You can also visit the site to volunteer for the festival or for other Ecologos projects.

Speaking of which, you can learn about our Water Docs @ School Action Projects (done in partnership with Learning for a Sustainable Future), aiming to cultivate environmental awareness, as well leadership, teamwork, project management and filmmaking skills in Grade 8 students.

For our latest intitiative, check out planning for our Ontario 150 Great Lakes Water Walk and Celebration, on September 24, bringing together thousands of Indigenous and non-Indigenous walkers to raise awareness of water and First Nations issues.

Finally, we offer not just one blog but two. News from Ecologos, as the name suggests, has the latest information about our events, initiatives and other goings-on. And Water Talk is our general blog about water issues and news, anchored by Jean Ann's Corner, offering Jean Ann Ledwell's telling insights, drawing on her experience as a social activist, educator and environmentalist.
